Metaphysical Causes of Cancer | The Art of Healing | Luna Bose Roy
When my dear grandmother developed Cancer , way back in 2000, I was anxious to discover the metaphysical cause of the disease. I could not accept the fact that my brave , kind and compassionate grandmother could develop the lethal disease.
I have taken interest in psychology and metaphysical aspects of diseases ever since my childhood days. I have always believed that disease manifests at an energetic or emotional level first and then at a physical level.I believe , In a Universe where the Conservation of energy holds true , energy is the centre of creation .
While at University, I got interested in the work of Louise Hay, an expert on the metaphysical causes of disease .
She states in her book “You Can Heal Your Life“, Cancer is often a product of unresolved fears or traumas.
Cancer according to Louise Hay is often caused by “Deep hurt, long-standing resentment,deeply held secret or grief eating away the self.”
Louise herself had developed cancer and correlated the spiritual and emotional cause to the childhood abuse that she had never worked through in her adult life . It was only once she had worked through the deep-seated emotions pent inside her that she was able to fully eradicate Cancer from her body.
There are countless stories .
I have always dug deep for the emotional and energetic causes whenever the disease has come back to haunt someone in my circle of family and friends over the last two decades.
In 2016 when my deeply religious mother was diagnosed with a rare form of Ovarian Cancer for the first time , I was deeply stirred . I delved deep into the metaphysical causes yet again. I lost one of my good friends to Cervical Cancer in 2017 . The relapse of my mother’s Cancer in 2018 has made me contemplate deeply and research further .Since then I have met many Cancer survivors and listened to their bold stories of private victory . I have met many more still fighting back memories of their loved ones.
Conventional medical wisdom tells us Cancer occurs due to environmental factors such as chemicals, toxins, tobacco ,sunlight, or genetic predisposition, and these seem to be true. While the research progresses , I do see common patterns on a metaphysical level .Cancer is not just a physical disease. It is a disease of the mind and soul as much as it is of the body. Cancer is a part of cell that has forgotten who it is.
Everything seems fine on the surface, but the body may be reminding that it is necessary to process and release the negative energy before the body can be truly healthy.
The healing process of Cancer opens up when the patient looks inside self and discovers the root cause of the illness. Then begins the journey to recuperate the mind, body, and spirit. Indeed, uncovering and addressing the truths that have been buried in the depleted body can even help traditional medical treatments work better.
People surviving Cancer have often tapped into their spiritual side when battling the illness. While spirituality can play a crucial role in healing , research has shown spirituality coupled with proper medical treatment plays a pivotal role in dealing with the disease better and faster .
As Eleanor Roosevelt said , “you gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face”. Spirituality helps face Cancer with positive attitude ,faith ,love, self-care and courage .
On a spiritual side ,Cancer occurs in advanced souls who have come to heal . Often it is through their own journey with the disease , healing can happen at a spiritual, emotional and even physical level. It can also occur directly or indirectly.Cancer can also occur when a healer needs to be reminded of their gifts. Often through their journey with Cancer ,they are reunited with their healing abilities. This can happen at both a conscious and subconscious level.
Cancer does not always have to be linked to an individual trauma, rather it can indicate a deep healing that involves an entire soul group. When someone develops Cancer , it acts as an awakening and healing process for other members of the same soul group.
The soul can heal by freeing the emotional buildup .While everyones journey with Cancer is different and stirs different emotions ,the Cancer survivor is an advanced soul reminded of its healing abilities to help self during its own journey and then it returns to heal others. God bless the soul .
Embrace. Release . Heal .
